Talents are expected to take the increasing self-responsibility to upgrade their capabilities, adapt to the New Normal and live up to the greater trust placed on them. Episode 7 in the Top In Tech series was all about TVET.

- Daniel Bernbeck, Member of the Board & CEO, Malaysian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MGCCI)

- Dato' Jeffery Tan, Deputy Chairman of Human Resources Committee, The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM)

- Callum Chen, President, Malaysian Consortium of Mid Tier Companies

The Budget 2021 announced that RM6 billion is allocated to enhance Technical and Vocational Training Education (TVET).

It was a robust discussion about what TVET must be in a world where the job market is screaming out for Digitally Savvy talent and those who are ready to work side by side with machines in the workforce.

This major allocation could set the foundation to accelerate the tech & digital adaptation for the next gen of Malaysian talent and play a pivotal role in Malaysia becoming a top Digital Economy.
